Field and Market Assessment of Heat Pump Clothes Dryers
Residential heat pump clothes dryers are a potentially significant advancement in clothes drying technology. Not only are they more energy-efficient than conventional electric dryers but they are ventless, which allows for flexibility in dryer location and can provide indirect space-conditioning benefits in heating-dominated climates. This study examined the features, performance, and consumer acceptance of heat pump clothes dryers as a potential addition to Minnesota Conservation Improvement Programs. More

Powering Wisconsin's Future through Clean Energy Careers
The State of Wisconsin set a goal that all electricity consumed in the state be 100% carbon free by 2050. But how do we get there? Slipstream partnered with Wisconsin’s K-12 Energy Education Program (KEEP), WPPI Energy, and Xcel Energy to create educational videos in support of local schools and to encourage young minds to consider career opportunities within the energy sector—especially in the clean energy space.
