Director of Marketing and Strategic Partnerships
Dave is responsible for developing and implementing business initiatives and marketing strategies that support Slipstream’s mission and program work. He specializes in strategic alliances with other mission-driven technical organizations as well as foundations. Dave also manages marketing and outreach for Slipstream’s technical assistance services for high performance building design including utility energy efficiency programs. He also supports Slipstream’s education team in developing training and continuing education events for building design professionals. Dave leverages his broad network of relationships with local and national industry stakeholders, including design teams, building owners, and trade and professional organizations, to add value to specific initiatives. His experience in communications, brand management and business development, including creating strategic relationships with media and targeted clients, are valuable assets in establishing relationships on behalf of specific programs and initiatives.
Directly out of college Dave cut his teeth in Boston working with former Chrysler Chairman and business icon Lee Iacocca at the Iacocca Family Foundation. He is past Chair of the Public Relations, Outreach and Marketing Committee at Madison community radio station WORT 89.9 FM. Dave earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing from Plymouth State University in New Hampshire.
