Residential HVAC Equipment Sizing, Manual J, S and D

This 1 1/2-hour course will discuss the ACCA design process, Manual J load calculation process modeling, which is the first step in sizing equipment properly, Manual S over-sizing provisions, available software tools to carry out Manual S calculations, and ends with a case study demonstrating how the Manual J and Manual S process works. 1 hour of continuing education.

Learning objectives:

• Provide background on the Air Conditioning Contracts of America (ACCA)
• Discuss the purpose and use of ACCA Manual D
• Discuss the purpose and use of ACCA Manual J
• Discuss the purpose and use of ACCA Manual S
