Course description: The goal of this course is to provide participants with a clear understanding of refrigeration systems, common terminology used within the industry, energy-saving upgrade opportunities at grocers and convenience stores (c-stores), how and when refrigeration energy savings can be obtained, common refrigeration opportunities/projects, and how to submit projects through both the Focus on Energy prescriptive and custom programs.

- Heat reclaim and system performance upgrade opportunities.
- Explanation of refrigerated case types, energy profiles, and suggestions.

- Preventive maintenance recommendations.
- How to utilize the Focus on Energy program for upgrade opportunities.
- Prescriptive incentive project opportunity.
- Custom incentive project opportunity.
