Energy Career Fair at UWGB 2026

We invite you and your students to join us and our partners this fall for an exploration of energy careers. The energy industry is experiencing rapid growth and there is a rising demand for people with expertise in energy-related fields. 

Sponsored by WPS, the Energy Career Fair will allow attendees to explore careers from electric power distribution to energy efficiency through a series of exciting hands-on demonstrations and stations. At our seven unique stations, students and educators will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with promising career paths and how they can shape the future. The stations will be offered concurrently for 25-minutes each to keep students engaged and interested throughout the day.

Who: High school students (school district must be in WPS utility service territory) 

When: Friday, September 18 at 9:00 a.m. 

Where: STEM Innovation Center (UWGB) | 2019 Technology Way | Green Bay, WI 54311  

Cost: FREE (water stations and lunch provided)

8:45 - 8:55 a.m.: Bus drop off 

9:00 - 9:15 a.m.: Welcome remarks, WPS and UWGB  

9:15 - 9:30 a.m.: Transition to first station 

9:30 - 9:55 a.m.: Rotation 1 

10:00 - 10:25 a.m.: Rotation 2 

10:30 - 10:55 a.m.: Rotation 3 

11:00 - 11:25 a.m.: Rotation 4 

11:35 a.m. - 12:10 p.m.: Free lunch sponsored by Focus on Energy  

12:20 - 12:45 p.m.: Rotation 5 

12:50 - 1:15 p.m.: Rotation 6 

1:20 - 1:45 p.m.: Rotation 7 

2:00 - 2:05 p.m.: Closing remarks  

2:10 p.m.: Buses load
