Ameya Desai

Ameya Desai comes with 20 years’ experience in the steam and boiler industry. A mechanical engineer by training, he has worked in the boiler and steam industry over a variety of applications. Starting his career in specialty steam valve design and high temperature and pressure applications, his understanding of the steam distribution and usage is very pragmatic and backed by a strong technical understanding. 

Having worked on steam systems in various industries, from institutional, food, beverage, pharma, and chemicals to heavy power plants and oil and gas applications, he has sound technical know-how of steam systems. His practical implementation of boiler room and steam application projects has helped him understand the potential of energy savings in a more practical way. 

He now helps blueprint value-added projects with consideration to safety, process efficiency, and energy savings.
