Slipstream Recognized for Outstanding Achievements in Energy Efficiency by the Association of Energy Service Professionals

The Association of Energy Services Professionals (AESP) recognized Slipstream for an outstanding energy efficiency program and named Slipstream employee, Justin Margolies, as One to Watch at its 29th National Conference and Expo currently underway in San Antonio, Texas.

Slipstream won the Outstanding Achievement in Market Research and Evaluation award for the persistence of savings from retro-commissioning measures study. Saranya Gunasingh, senior energy engineer at Slipstream, led the project and accepted the award. This study is one of the most comprehensive field assessment studies conducted in the U.S. and has resulted in realistic measure life assessments, both at the building level and at individual measure level.

Justin Margolies, senior research analyst at Slipstream, won the One to Watch award that recognizes an individual for outstanding contributions to the energy industry with less than five years of experience. Justin stood out for his work in beneficial electrification, specifically developing a new method for measuring the benefits of beneficial electrification. He was also recognized for his work in leading the design and implementation of a heat pump incentive program.

“Slipstream shows how outcome-based performance and new tools that measure the benefits of clean energy bring us further, faster in the transition from fossil fuels,” said Mary Schlaefer, Slipstream President and CEO. “We’re proud to be recognized by AESP for this vital leadership.”
