Slipstream stands against racism. The injustice and tragedy inflicted on people in the black community, native nations, and other communities of color must not be tolerated. Racist violence and injustice are unacceptable.

We commit to acting with urgency within our own organization. When we formed Slipstream in 2019, the Slipstream Board of Directors adopted measurable diversity goals for our board development to address gender, ethnicity, and age gaps. We have invested—and will continue to invest—in training so that our staff become better stewards of change. We recruit to include underrepresented perspectives. And we have prioritized underserved communities in our new program and funding development. There is more that we can—and must—do. Our board of directors and staff continue to learn, discover and act on ways we can increase our impact as part of the solution to structural racism.
